Post Extracting the tracks for mixing

I need to extract each individual track for mixing with a different program... the studio requests this.

How do you do this? Bounding each track on a whole album would take weeks!

OK problem solved. I had recently sold my PCI soundblaster sound card... so the only sound device was the Profire 610.
I opened my BIOS and enabled my onboard soundcard, and bingo. Buffer size was...

For some reason I don't have the option to change my buffer size anymore. I used to have! Does anyone have a clue what happened? I tried changing the buffer size on my hardware program for Profire...

True. Hmmm, I think 88.2 will suit my needs then. My computer runs a bit better with 88.2 compared to 96... but I could make it work. I don't care very much about the disc space... cause a few GB's...

Hmmm interesting that u guys only run 44.1 kHz.
The thing is, what we record is going to be released on vinyls aswell as CD. The style is sort of epic doom metal, lots of guitar stuff, so for CD...

What sampling frequency would you record at? I'm debating between 96kHz and 88.2Khz. I have sampled a peice from a vinyl through my interface at the two different settings, but I seriously can't...

you are right :) any other ways to customize you drum midi editing? Is there anything in the way of a plugin? GUI might help allot tho.

seriously, it can't be true that after spending 250€ on a program, the stock midi editing is centuries behind a 40bucks program like reaper.

I'm doing complex fills with alot of different hit with velocities changing and so on... I'm writing music for my band this way, we play doom metal.
I could see that this with splitting everything...

Im using the midi editor allot with ez drummer, and im sick and tired of the editor in LE8 compared to Reaper. Does anyone know if you can somehow tag the notes "left sidekeyboard" in the editor so...

How important is the speed of the system drive in general? Would a Sata1 16bm cache cut the mustard?

Cool thanks allot for the answers. Will there be any big difference using sata or sata2? I have one of each, should I use the sata2 as system disk or audio disk?

As I said needed to get it painted, sorry ;p. Gonna go tomorrow and get a new sata2 HD. I have a normal sata 16mb cache. Should I use that as system ot audio drive?

Great speech, however will vista 64 bit never be supportet digidesign? And if I do have vista 64 running well with PTMP will PT still be able to use more than 32bit standard 3,67 RAM?

OK so I have a 2x250GB RAID-0 as system disks "WinVista" with ofcourse PT M-powered installed.

Is this recommendable? I know the PT doesn't support RAID, but i thought that was as audio-disk.
