The moral of that 60 page thread is, uncheck "ignore errors during playback". :D

Re: Anyone running a RME HDSPe AES PCIe card w/PT9?
Trying to narrow down if this is an RME only thing or if it expands to other interfaces too. It seems Digi interfaces are working fine.

Re: Is there a way to switch playback buffer without having to restart PT?
Hey sunburst,
I don't think there's anything wrong with my manufacture's drivers.. I can change buffer playback all day long in REAPER. I can change sample rates, master/slave clock, etc...

Yep, I tried runnin' it as admin, but when I go to change the h/w buffer size, it only shows the size I'm already running. No other options. If I try to change it from my RME control...

Re: Pro Tools 9 on Windows 7
Yes. Running but not very stable.. and sluggish. But maybe it's just the "usual" PT sluggishness and it's only noticeable coming from REAPER's blazing quick performance. :(

I can't switch my playback buffer rate without having to restart PT... and even if I do, sometimes the whole thing bugs out; after closing PT and trying to open it again, it says it didn't close down...

I'll have to express compassion for the OP. Have spent WAY too many hours optimizing/reformatting/troubleshooting PT over the years.

Re: Disappointed with PT 9
Macs are generally more stable with PT than PCs. So for those who have NEVER had any issues, I'm betting most in that camp are Mac users.
Bottom line, I'm not talking about PT vs REAPER here as...

I'm experiencing the same issue. Meters are lighting up, but my Aurora shows no signal. I'm on an RME HDSPe AES PCIe card.
Right now, I'm going between this issue, and the play/pause stuck issue....

Re: PT "could not set sample rate to specified value"
Found a fix. Gotta use your interface's internal clock as master.
That SUCKS btw... because I have to use my RME clock instead of my Aurora clock. WTF Avid??
