so is my Maxtor One Touch II 300GB External Hard Drive "not a valid record volume"? if so, does anybody know which is the best hard drive to buy? wanna start working but am at a road block right...

thanks for the advice, did what you recommended, and got a "could not be unmounted" error...must be my hard drive, thanks for your help...

i just purchased a new mac book pro, protools 7.1.1 installed, and i'm running an m-audio 1814 interface, and a maxtor 300GB...here's the problem: everytime i try to open a session it says my HD's...
