I use Trim Enabler also.
I used to just enable trim in Terminal but I like having the Health metrics to see how various ssd's are lasting/wearing.
Probably just a security blanket but there it is.

Hmm,..
Maybe I'll use MA on the upgrade of my MBP.
Actually, I did a regular upgrade to Sierra on the laptop today just to see what apps will need to be upgraded and it's pretty darn snappy so far!...

Yeah,..
I've been doing clean installs since Snow Leopard and I always install everything manually.
Just wanted to see if the tide had changed since my last upgrade.

I'm about to upgrade from 10.10.5 to Sierra on my 5.1 too.
In my old age, I've gotten lazier and lazier so I was wondering,
is everybody still doing clean installs every major os upgrades?

Since I can't see any big reason to upgrade, I'll wait for the next one.

I also use Reaper and MIDI is starting to become pretty strong there.
Still can't beat PT for editing though.

After checking out the "What's New" release notes, I'm pretty underwhelmed with this one.
And there doesn't seem to be tons of threads on issues either new or resolved.

I'm on Mtn Lion and I tried to download 11.3 with FireFox today. Got the "can't locate server" which reminded me that I never can seem to download anything from Avid with FireFox.
Switched to Safari...
