Ok. I have tested this out.

the other day when i did the post, it was taking up to 13 seconds. Today with a fresh reboot it takes about 10 secs. I removed the waveshell , and it took 4 seconds.

64 tracks no problem at all off 1 x 7200 rpm ATA.
I have gone up to 100 tracks.
I don't know why people bother with scsi.
It's a hoax i rekon.

Hi All,

Just curious, is there any downsides to using the AV option. I have been using fuse for years, and am really happy with it. I do wish i could do some basic video editing , so we can lay up...

i have disabled apple talk , and it is still slow.
Anyhoo, we need that!

Does any one NOT have this problem with HD
5.3.3?

Whats the deal...
Ever since 5.1 , the 'import audio' menu takes soo damn long to load. It takes up to ten seconds.
I puts me off adding files!!!

What is the reason for this?

Stylus timing is crappy.
not only is the latency bad, but it is not conisitent. I use it as a sound back, and pretty much hack the stuff in audio.

Just to let you all know, flat panels using the VGA output of the mac rather than the apple digital really do not look anywhere near as sharp.
It really is a big difference!

Hi,

Anyone else having this.
on occasion,

1. Not being able to delete a part of a region
2. When deleting a chunk of a track, regions before disapear.
