I use the Digi 001 via Digidesign CoreAudio 6.9.2 in Tiger OSX 4.11.

I use Logic & DSP Quattro and even Ardour.

Haven't had any problems.

I use PTLE on internal clock (ADAT)
and set the O1v on external clock. (ADAT)

The final solution was to toss the Coraudio thang and to trash the Pro Tools folder and re-install.
It was fine after that.
