Why don't I see more threats about it.

Everybody is right if you say, don't upgrade everytime, and I am always very behind on speedy upgraders because I want stable versions.
And on your dedicated system you could wait for a while...

Can anyone explain to me why eg. the Mbox is now obsoleted hardware with the new 8.01 version ?
I do understand it if someone stops supporting an old OS, due to software issues, but stop supporting...

I 've bought the downloadable version of PT7 today, and installed it without any problem,on my new macbookpro with tiger 10.4.6.
