Unfortunately this is a known issue, and I have the same problem. You can in fact only use two mono plugs because the plugin rack does not see two mono, linked groups as a stereo group....

I'm sure it is, although I'm just basing that off of my own speculation. I see it as a perfect solution for live tracking/virutal soundcheck for up to 64 channels and a more reasonable price
