To answer your question as to "what I thought would happen"... I guess when I deselected "PAN" in the save track preset window, I assumed it would ignore...

Ok, thanks. Would you be willing to try one more thing:

create a new mono track, add some sends and plugins.. save it as a new preset with only plugin and send parameters. Now make a stereo...

Curious, when you saved your track preset, did you save it on a mono or stereo track? When you recalled it, was it on a stereo or mono track?

I've been having this issue forever. Have notified Avid Support of it almost new major ProTools update. Here's the easiest way to describe it:

1) I save a new track preset, ONLY save the plugin...

After I've reset the firmware, the fader-pack DOES react to the utility menu (and ProTools for that matter). If I turn on the fader-pack without doing the firmware reset, it does NOT. Seems weird...
