But, the AAF opened fine and these fades were added AFTER receiving the AAF. This problem happened in PT when mergina a DX protools session and an MnE protools session.

I received a project from a student which is a merge of an DX Edit and an M&E (premix).

The student's Clip-Gain is missing and has been reset to 0dB. Almost as if each clip has been rendered...

No inserts are being used on our guide track at all. I would post screenshots but I am not sure how helpful they would be as you would just be looking at a meter which is clipping.

Thanks for the info. I tried to disengage "link edit and timeline selection" but this does not in fact loop. It sets the loop in/out markers but does not loop back to the start of the "loop in"...
