Re: HD Hardware & CoreAudio on Yosemite

Hi Drew would you mind asking Avid for a timeline on this. I really can't be bothered with ADAT to my HD io and I need all the ADDA anyway on my 16x16 so it's not an option, but thanks for suggesting...

Re: HD Hardware & CoreAudio on Yosemite

The plug in does look like a great solution but why should I pay extra for a workaround to something Avid should just fix? I paid $599 for 12 and support how hard can core audio be to fix?

Re: Anyone attempted the HDX firmware update?

I did it last night, it all checked out PT 11.2.2 and core audio worked still with iTunes and Sound Blade still (thank god!)

All seems OK to me.

Firmware update was faultless too.

I can confirm GM has been in touch and is definitely working to resolve this issue. Good news.

Re: UA v 7.7 AAX-64 bit Windows!!!

There's usually a pair of 1081's here but they're out on tour at the mo, whilst not quite the same thing I can't wait to do a compare when they get back. My impression (from memory) is that this is...

Re: UA v 7.7 AAX-64 bit Windows!!!

You may want to give it a try. It sounds amazingly good even if it is a DSP hog and it's a lot cheaper than £5000 for 2 real ones.

Seriously though I think they really have pushed the boat out on...

Re: MDW EQ 5 AAX Plug-In

It still crashes all the time when you try and access the plug in whilst playing back. Its a graphics crash. It doesn't fully crash tools it just annoyingly stops playback. It says increase buffers...

Re: MDW EQ 5 AAX Plug-In: Fix is On the Way

It's specifically bypassing either the HPF band or the whole plug in whilst in playback of audio (not whilst stopped)

I have been through a variety of systems over the years TDM G4's, G5s, MacPro...

Re: MDW EQ 5 AAX Plug-In: Fix is On the Way

Hello I've been using it since it had that funky interface V1?

The problem I refer to is consistent and is when you by pass a band or a whole plug in when using the high pass filters (not sure...

I also wish they could get the damned thing to temporarily automute when you have a filter in and are attempting to bypass it. EVERY SINGLE VERSION EVER (yes I am shouting in frustration) generates...

Re: Space AAX DSP performance.

Thanks Andreas

That seems pretty good better than TDM from memory where it could swallow a tonne of chips.

Thats at 44/48 stereo I assume?

Space AAX DSP performance.

Hello

I'm interested in the latency and how many DSP chips an instance of space is using on HDX.

Anyone got it?

Thanks in advance.

Re: MDW EQ 5 AAX Plug-In: Fix is On the Way

I'll try it out as soon as I get the time.

If I have purchased 5 it should be in my account right?

Re: MDW EQ 5 AAX Plug-In: Fix is On the Way

Re: MDW EQ 5 AAX Plug-In: Fix is On the Way

Has this version had the delay compensation bug fixed in addition to working with 11?

That's been a complete PITA in 10 ;-)

Good news if it has as this and Slate VTM are all I...

Re: MDW EQ 5 AAX Plug-In: Fix is On the Way

This is pretty much my last requirement (and Slate VTM but that is "slated" excuse the bad pun, for January) before moving permanently over to PT 11. This can not come to soon. Any news? It also...
