Just so I understand Sardi, you are also saying that single core ratings are more important than multicore ratings, correct? I have a lot of VIs and I'm always shutting down the system.

Maybe I was having CPU issues for items related to plugins, but I was told that single core performance is the most important thing to look at because some processing has to take place in order...

I ended up getting the Late 2018 Mac Mini when I found out that it's upgradeable CPU Benchmark is ranked #2 among all Macs on single core #6 among all Macs on multicore. The icing on the cake is...

Thanks. I compared the single core speed of all the CPUs and I think I'm going to make my own PC using a Intel Core i9-9900K @ 3.60GHz processor for $500+. No Macs come close and charge $1000s...

I noticed a few DAWs show note labels (Ab, A, Bb, C, etc.) on the individual piano roll notes that you draw within the piano roll. Does Pro Tools allow us to do that as well?

Workspace Browser Auto-Preview Feature needs work?

Is there a way to have the auto-preview feature to continue to go through files without unselecting the entire population everytime you tag, mark as favorite or rate an entry?

Figured it out. Select a bunch of files and make sure the "Auto-Preview" checkmark is selected in the dropdown menu in the top right.

Workspace Browser - Automatically play through files?

Hi,

Is there any way to have the workspace browser move to the next file after a sample is played so I can audition all samples without having to click on each file?

I set all my MIDI Output selectors to none by mistake. Now I have 100 tracks with no midi working. Is there a way to change all the MIDI Output selectors back to their original respective tracks?

Okay, so I wanted to overclock again. Came back into Pro Tools and Omnisphere kept crashing again. I guess I can't overclock at all using Omnisphere and Pro Tools.

Thank you for all your help Darryl. I uninstalled everything to do with Omnisphere from my boot drive. Restarted. Reinstalled. Now I'm able to load and play 150 simultaneous tracks of Omnisphere...

I was thinking the same thing as bronsoncox however, I just ran a test where I had 128 tracks with 10 plugins on each track (including Sansamp, DVerb, etc.) and I had no problem whatsoever recording...
