Don't want to update my system if VMR breaks on 12.x.

I downloaded latest version today is VMR 2.2.8.1.

Any updates?, resolution?

idk, but every single time I've ever launched waves central, it had to interrupt me to request it update itself.......just too often for my workflow. And....if it must, it should do so more...

just updated waves central version today, installed/activated new plugs, and updated installed plugs in PT 12.5 on Yosemite with no problems.

The problem with Avid's PT model is that it penalizes the customer for leaving, instead of incentivizing them towards staying. :mad:

Not exactly the same, but consider multi-boot or vm multiple OS from the same workstation when you get to "the edge", so that you could still retain backwards compatibility with your current setup,...

Cheaper converters makes logical sense to me; that physical technology costs (mics, pre-amps, etc.) will never be as commoditized as microchips, converters, digital based technology, so I don't look...

Yes, very silly fix I hacked on was to bring my bluetooth dongle closer to my mouse/trackpad by attaching it to a 10' usb cable off the usb ports on the mac.

Pro Tools today is analogous to a release w/greatest hits. Its the same classic move when a band had no new material, they would re-package the classics, and maybe throw on some songwriter for hire...
