Having this same issue. (Pro Tools 12.7, MacOS 10.12.6) Pro Tools system monitor shows RAM usage at 99%. MacOS Activity Monitor shows about 16 GB of unused RAM available. Why wouldn't the system just...

This turned out to be a plugin for me also. To anybody else having this problem it seems your first troubleshooting stop should be to disable all plugins. If the problem goes away, then starting...
