I can't change the input tab

Hi.
I've reset the I/Oa to default, but can't get the input tabs to change to 'input" or "bus"
I am running my projects with Focusrite and an external drive.
It just seems to be on some projects...

I have tried the dropdown menu, but the ket is I'm using Mohjave which you are saying won't work yet.
