I've trashed my databases and preferences and this is still doing this. It's flippin' ridiculous. I'm using the same exact sfx I've used for the past couple of years and I have never had any issue...

Why not use the function key? It kinda takes some getting used to but depending how often you use the numeric keypad it works.

Or use Quick keys and program all your short cuts that way.

What kinda mic? You try the 48V button on the back? You may want to try plugging the mic into the mbox while the computer is shut off and then start your computer and your pro tools session.
