Re: Premiere Pro AAF to PT

That is an annoying "feature" of premier. Unfortunately since premier strips away much of the metadata I don't believe there is a way to make the field recorder workflow work. You would have to...

Re: Premiere Pro AAF to PT

If the editor worked with all the production audio, why do you need to resync to the recorder files? You will already have all the audio tracks in your session.

Re: Audio 360 Video Player not seeing PT as DAW connection

Re: Pro Tools 2019 !

Surround sound and ambisonics are only supported on ultimate. That's a pretty big difference if you mix in more than stereo.

Re: Free gift from Avid: Accusonus Voice Leveler

I too am underwhelmed by this. It's great to get to try it out, but I don't see myself using it.

Re: New computer monitor. Whatcha using?? Especially for new Mac mini

I am a big fan of the 21:9 ratio monitors. I have LG so I can't compare to other brands, but I prefer a wider ratio to a bigger monitor overall.

Re: Consistently Missing Files & Dropbox Smart Sync

I haven't come across this myself exactly, but my initial guess is the file UID is changing. Try writing down the UID of the file in question in the workspace browser, then the next time it happens...

Re: Moving everything

First, I would suggest saving a copy of your session so you can easily revert if desired.
Then change the session start time. A pop-up window will verify.
The PT manual will describe all of the...

Re: ProTools with wireless headphones + Bluetooth codecs

Dante VIA will do this too. I believe it cost less, but can't remember how much. Made by the same folks responsible for Dante audio networking.

Re: Music w/ lots of level under 30hz. Highpass across Printmaster out?

I want to propose a different way of asking this question. Is there any reason you should NOT roll off below 30hz? I can't think of one.
Even a 4th order roll off at 30hz leaves a fair amount of...

Re: Recovering a Track that was Command + .

Have you tried a data recovery software on the record drive? Hopefully you haven't written anything else to the drive since.

Re: Bwf = rf64

I would prefer the option to either record an RF64 or automatically split the WAV files.

Re: Bwf = rf64

Interesting. Good to know PT will automatically create an RF64 if the recording goes over. Hopefully this is an optional feature as not all programs support RF64.

There are some things you need...

Re: Bwf = rf64

Why not setup a 192k session, hit record and go to lunch. When you come back see what file you have? I'm guessing it will automatically split the files and not create an RF64.
Everything I have...

Re: Dimmed solo button?

When I solo a solo safed track, the solo button is the same saturation of yellow as a non solo safed track. PT 2018.12

Re: Dimmed solo button?

At first I also thought a track was solo-safed, but looking at the picture the dimmed solo button is yellow, not the dimmed grey that a solo safed track would be.

Re: Pro-Tools Sabotaging My Projects!
