What is the MacOS version on your Mac ?

I use two of these drives on my G4 DP 1.25 without any problem under MacOS 10.3.6, jumper is set to Cable Select.

I'm using DP 4.12 on a Digi 001 and there is a 5.1 mix pan on any channel available. You have to define it in the outputs. Is it missing in DP 4.5 ?

Studio > Audio Bundles > Add multiple > 5.1

Check the midi code in the midi list view that for one note, you only have one note. Or that there is not a problem with the midi thru (try off).

Wouldn't you check in Disk Utility if the journaling if "off" on the dedicated, I suppose, disk where the video is to be captured ? And of course that disk formatted with MacOS X in HFS+ scheme ?

I have a G4 DP Dual Boot 1.25 Ghz with 768 MB ram and a Digi 001. If I win at lottery, I'll buy a second one and keep it packaged just in case.

If your machine can boot in OS9, you could download and use Pro Tools free. At least you'll can open your session and edit it.
