Got it all working using I teleport and my dlink router....

Although its pretty laggy....

Would ddwrt help that?

It seems like changes get to the console fast but the return to the iPad is...

Can you explain a bit more about the benefits of ddwrt? The website is a little vague as about the benefits of changing firmware, especially for Dshow vnc.

Tried to install the Waves V8 bundle today and it seemed to go ok, but it gave me an error related to ILOK driver not being up to date?

I really do think it's a good system. but with a few simple tweaks it could be a game changer.

But I don't know how interested AVID is in pushing it or even continuing...

Agreed whole heartedly!

Have been running 6 PQ mixes on a national touring country act for 3 years now.

It works ok. It gets by. Especially when you subtract the cost of a full time monitor...
