I have PT9 - I had it working on Yosemite. My hard drive crashed. I reinstalled everything... I can't find a working install of PT9... not from my original CD's... not from downloads...

I was having a similar problem. Clicking on Pro Tools and then the splash screen was disappearing and startup/initialisation was aborted without it giving me any warning or dialogue box.

Thanks for your help guys. I tried downloading 7.1.1, but it needs an authorisation code and all I have is an authorisation code thats vaild with 6. This basically means that this setup is PowerPC...

I bought an mbox with all the associated software from ebay.

It comes with LE 6.2.3 and I thought it would be a cheap and legit way for me to dip a toe into the Pro Tools waters(I'm a logic user)...
