So is the fan noise quite bad or is it ok?

Was just thinking of the recording-in-the-same room angle and how the fan noise might come across on the mics, if so then its game over i suppose..

Is anyone getting great results from ASUS laptops?

My local computer shop highly recomended one (i can get around 2G processing and 2RAM for £800) but obvioulsy i am keen to hear of success...
