Re: .band to PT
I did this a couple of times.

Re: Getting back into home recording
So you're not getting a new mac?
If not, why don't you just use 7.4?
Is it not working?
Don't let technical stuff get in the way of the actual recording.

Re: MBox 3 Pro - Zero Latency HowTo
Rather than muting/unmuting everytime you switch between record and playback, you can uncheck "Link record and play faders" in preferences so you can set the faders to one position in playback mode,...

Re: replacing region in pt
If I understand you correctly, all you have to do is put PT into "Spot mode" (instead of Grid, Slip..), drag the clip to the track and use the sync time that comes up. Easy.

Re: Have to buy a Mac tomorrow - Please answer!
Be prepared for some trial and error getting correct aspect ratio, at least I would be. Been there with mac pro and 50" TV, but not for Protools. And what kind of graphical capabilities does a mac...

Re: session seems endless?
