Re: Pro Tools 9.0.6 freezes when loading

I have the exact same problem! And like you say, eargizzle, it's not the end of the world but clearly irritating.

Any updates on the way to fix this? 9.0.7?

Re: Status of OSX 10.6.6 and 9.0.1?

10.6.6 and PT 9.0.1 is working fine here. Don't have much from Waves but Renaissance Maxx bundle (V7) works fine and Massey CT4, VT3 and Tape Head are solid.

Re: New 27" iMac & PT8.0.3cs2

Sorry to hear it didn't work...

Since it works on your MacBook: are you using the same FW-cables as when you use your iMac? I guess not since your iMac must have the FW800. Maybe something is...

Re: New 27" iMac & PT8.0.3cs2

I think you should try going to 8.0.4 since Digi states "8.0.4 adds support for the latest i5 and i7 iMac and MacBook Pro models."

Get it here:...

Re: Digi002 Rack via 400-to-800 cable

Thanks a lot everybody!

I'll give it a go with the adapter cable. Seems like a good solution. Since this is not my primary rig it's all right if it doesn't work perfectly right away. It's going to...

Re: Digi002 Rack via 400-to-800 cable

Hi Dougfather!

I was not the original poster so my original setup does not exist :-)

It's just that I had heard that you shouldn't put your 002R-interface first in the chain (read it on the...

Re: Digi002 Rack via 400-to-800 cable

Hi Shane!

Thanks for your info! Just to be sure. On the iMac (with a 2.66-processor) are you using the FW800 port out to the LaCie or the FW400 port?

Re: Digi002 Rack via 400-to-800 cable

Hi cschreppel!

I'm thinking of using my Macbook (only one FW400 port) as a mobile rig just as you. I'm also thinking of using a FW drive with one 400 port and two 800 ports. I know it works as you...

Re: PTLE 7.4cs8 and missing rewire function

FWIW I had a similar problem when going to PTLE 7.4cs8. I re-installed Reason but still no Rewire. I trashed every Protools and Reason related pref and let the programs build new ones. Still no luck....

Re: Xpand! v1.0 to v1.0.1 Updates

I can't get the upgrade to work either. I don't get an error message but the version is still 1.0.0.701 after running the upgrade installer.

Re: Slow meters and still lots of CPU-power left

... or maybe I'd be better off buying a processor upgrade to 800 Mhz? Do you think that would be enough?

OK. Thanks Markus. I'll try that.

Ist it possible to run two digi 001 on on G4, just for a short while? Or will the cards interfere with each other? Anyone who has tested?

Re: Auto-Exit#1 Error Message??

Re: Output Question?

There is absolutely nothing wrong in routing the signals to output 1-2 if you have done stereo-mix and listen through channel 1 (L) and 2 (R) on your external mixer. Sounds strange that your mix...
