EUCON is 100x better than HUI. As you grow you will get frustrated if you have a HUI controller. An Artist Mix is your best bet. But first Download EUCON and install EuControl from the Avid Download...

This can only mean you have some messed up networking on that machine. I would uninstall again removing prefs and start again. changing that setting via the registry is not good.

This is strange. Can you go to the old Windows Control Panel, click on EUCON and make sure that the network adapter is selected correctly. Make sure External Workstations is NOT checked in either...

An ad hoc network direct connect to the Mac wifi is actually one step less. Its way less flexible but probably better performance

LockApp is the Windows Lock Screen App. You need to focus on PT and then directly after focus EuControl. Then when it says PT and not LockApp press the +

This is MCClient, the log I need is EuControl. Did you do the uninstall of Bonjour?

The logs show it trying to pick a different network adapter. Do you have any others enabled? Wifi? VPN ? If not try this.

Uninstall EUCON again as before. Then from Windows uninstall Bonjour....

Pro Tools is EUCON. This is for Mackie Control DAW's. Remove it as it will confuse the issue.

Is there any point that EuControl actually runs, or does it always throw that error?

When anything weird like this happens its always best to run the EUCON installer again, check remove all Apps and remove all prefs. Restart and then install EuControl (top option) again.
