Yes, it's new spending. I will replace my blue 192I/O by either the new 192HD or the SSL Alpha Link.
I don't know the date by when the current 192HD will be EOL.

Just wait until Avid declares that the new Mac Pro is certified. Often I believe they first certify HD versions, than LE versions.
