Yes, but it's kind of heavy so I wouldn't do it for all tracks and not all the time... perhaps the final score to Sib and continue from there, but it doesn't do good for creativity having to swap...

Go to the Workspace window and see if your drive has "T" instead of "P" (playback) or "R" (record)

Just a take a look at your recent session folders, how large are they? Namely the audio files folder. If it regularly stays below 10 gigs then you should be in good hands :D

So don't worry about it too much. Sample rate is mostly important when you connect devices together, not when you import/export stuff from one session to another

Sample rate info is written to the WAV file header and a DAW can read it from there. If it doesn't match, it converts.

Yes it helps on recording, you can even record to a slow usb stick if all of your session fits in memory... just dont touch anything once PT starts writing to the stick 😂

Today, TDM is something you wish to build for little money and leave it there without any plans of upgrading it later. It is good for that and still performs exceptionally well as before

I would trust PT10 system requirements but usually one or possibly two releases further "may" be functional, but your mileage may vary
