Is it true that when dragging a scene from sketch to protools only the raw audio files get copied at 0dB, and not the mix from sketch at all?

Hi,

in the keyboard shortcuts list there is "Show Only selected Tracks" available.

But NOT "Restore Previously Shown Tracks".

Is there a workaround or was this just left behind by Avid?

Grid to Markers Only? No Clips

Isn´t there a way to have my Grid following MARKERS ONLY. Not to the CLIPS on visible Tracks.

The Grid Mode "Clips/Markers" seems restricting.

It’s astonishing that everyone is so silent on this. Even in real life. I mean it can lead to undone/forgotten change orders which is not funny for a Pro. ProTools.

Pasting any data DELETES Track Markers

Hi,

when I copy data, lets say pan automation, and paste it over a section where a track marker lives the marker is wiped away. Even hidden ones

"Markers Follow Edit" doesn´t do anything here....

Thanks. I‘m currently testing bluecat Patchwork.
It hosts multiple vst/au in one aax insert and sort of enables the desired functionality. However it has to be set up wisely and has minor drawbacks...

sorry if this has been asked.
While EUCON custom knobs are an improvement they still leave me navigating through multiple layers on the S3.
Isn`t there a way to map, say some EQ, a de-esser...

weird. now it is greyed out. (ah its greyed out when pt is running. I disabled it with pt down. No difference alas)

I was able to increase the chance of reproducing it to like 90% by hitting shift...

funny is, when holding shift this doesn't happen. it just adds the track to the selection then and plugins don't follow at all.

True indeed. When I hold shift and click on an Insert it happens as well. with the difference that it adds the window to the one already open. In my scenario the original plugin window disappears...

hm. that completely disables the essential function I´m afraid.

I actually want that i.e EQ or Pan or whatever Plugin follows my track selection.
But only the "one" window in the "parked...

Sure, so it only utilizes one processor.
Most renderings I do are single files only

Double EUCON activated window after selecting track

Hi,

my work-automatism is: I select a track and then immediately hit "shift-s" to hear it solo.

However this "shift" sometimes (not always) results in another EUCON Plugin or pan window...
