So I can get a two track mix of the cut with an initial sync beep at the '2', then go from there. If dialog work is needed, I can get the original location tracks to search through....

thanks for the replies. I finally figured out the problem. When I would place the card into the PCI slot, the screw attaching to the Mac chassis wouldn't align, so the slight movement to make it fit...
