DP support in 6.0 is a big deal to me. It will determine my options for upgrading my mac. I'll do one of the following depending upon performance.

I always move my newly recorded region back 164 samples when recording with the MBox, just for peace of mind and safety's sake.

So would it be that difficult for Protools to "know" that you're using an MBox? It obviously sees it when you have it plugged in or not.

Yes the MBox is nice...considering the $400 price point. I've been using for overdubbing on a session recorded to 2" Studer and dumped to a PTHD system, and it was easy as hell. Thanks DIGI.

Look for a used joe meek vc3. Definately not a transparent sound but that's about the only pre of any merit for under 200 bucks used. Otherwise save up until the fmr comes out or something else in...
