For clocking you don't make a cable like that.. What you need is a bunch of BNC T Pieces and some lengths of BNC terminated cable. Old School ethernet cable works well for short runs.

IT'S MULTI CLIENT CAPABLE.

I run pro tools and cubase 4 at the same time, both with full access to all the I/O at once.

Mine does a full 34 simultaneous I/O, 32 adat, 2 sp/dif.

Works under xp & osx. This may be an error, or a toes in the water test to see what damand would be for such a thing. With my monster...

some confustion. I run the lightbridge with M Powered, the official 8 core mac test is running under LE with a 002r, not with the lightbridge.

Interesting. My 2.4GHz with 1066 FSB dual Clovertown Hackintosh does about 200 D-Verbs with the above settings, as opposed to your score wit 3.0GHz and 1333 FSB.

There is not a linear correlation between CPU power and number of cores, for some reason Cubase's "VST Performance" meter shows a fairly high...

My 8 core hackintosh uses all the cores well.

The 2.6 will be somewhat faster than mine and the 3ghz will be off the charts.

Logic 7 is pure(ish)-bred Apple Product, and is highly optimized for that platform. ProTools is cross platform appliction and is written in portable code. hings have got closer...
