The best thing is the Eventide plugs are really, really good.

For all the noise we hear about UA (and I do have a UAD) IMHO SoundToys and Eventide are right up there.

My UAD is no longer working. The plugins that are authorized will open ok but they're unresponsive.

I tried restarting and the first plug I opened would work but then nothing. Now no matter how...

Guitar Rig 6 crashing ProTools

Hi,

I'm running a new MacMini with the latest PT version along with an Omni HD. Guitar Rig 6 is crashing PT as soon as it's instansiated.

GR5 works fine.

Anyone else having this problem?

One of the last steps I do before I mix a track is to name all of the audio files what they are _final.

I find by using that it keeps things clean and organized. YMMV

I have a MIDI IO (which, in Avid's defense is an old piece of hardware). I may be an outlier in that I still like having an 8x8 MIDI...

I/O Settings on the Inserts tab. The in/out of the insert need to be the same (ex - channel 1 for in out vs channel 1 in and 3 out).

Maybe because I'm getting old but I have always liked Waves plugins and still use a lot of the same ones (modern version) that I've used for years.

I'm sure there are better plugins out there but...
