Just to add, I have been saving all my Pro Tools Sessions to my desktop, instead of my hard drive (hard drive doesnt work). Could it be that I am taking up too much memory? etc.

Trying to drag wAV file from audio loops and sample CD-access is denied

I am trying to drag a drum kick from the "audio loops and samples" CD into pro tools, but a window comes up saying access is denied.

Adding AudioSuite to drums

I am messing around with AudioSuite on my drums, and when I highlight a region, then go to AudioSuite, it reads "No audio was selected".

Is AudioSuite only for tracks with waveforms?

Track only mutes for one bar

When I click the M (mute) on a looped track, it only stays muted for one bar, then the M becomes unlit and goes right back to sound.

How can I fix this?

Thank you for the replies. I have some problems with MIDI tracks that may be alleviated if I convert them now that I realize it. I will keep it in mind to hide and disable original MIDI data

I did learn MIDI CC and adjusted using the MIDI, but it still stays in the last adjusted setting it was.

Still having this problem, once I go to replay the piece I just recorded over, the knob stays at what it was. I have to manually turn down the knob, then playback will slowly turn it.
