Are you guys experiencing the same thing? Every time i fire up PT11 (11.2.1) to work on a video, it has to "connect to the video engine".. At my job I'm often working with 3-5 second short clips.....

I am currently trying to convert / bounce my sound FX to mp3 as thats the format required for the Video Game I'm working on. Some of these FX need to loop perfectly and do so within Pro Tools.....

try going under "options" and seeing if Dynamic Transport is checked. If so, uncheck it.. Having that checked will cause playback to always start at the same point.
