I tried the "re-install Mbox drivers while connected" thing, and it finally looks like it's working in HighSierra 10.13.6:

I've traditionally having problems with mine the last couple of years... It used to work on High Sierra, but I was forced to remove my last High Sierra install known to work with the Mbox 3 Pro......

I'm having problems AGAIN...

I ended up with a multi-boot system (with Windows 10, Ubuntu and macOS High Sierra on a USB SSD)...

The Mbox 3 Pro seems working at my Windows boot, but it doesn't...

I'm having problems with Velvet, it keeps telling me that "Content not found" - I suspect is related with previously moving my Home folder to another partition:
iMac (late 2007) 24" 2.4GHz...

However, mine came with Tiger DVD's. I did away by making two partitions (Leopard & Tiger) and install Pro tools on tiger.
