Re: Sooo, when are us subscribers getting HEAT?

Don't be. You get it cheaper if you commit to year instead of month, and even cheaper if you pay the year upfront instead of monthly.

Re: Sooo, when are us subscribers getting HEAT?

Just for clarifying things... "perpetual" meaning you see a "license" on your iLok License Manager, "rental" meaning you see a "subscription".

Re: 2018 Mac Mini Ditch Pro Tools Plan

Darryl nailed it. You only get 32 i/o with standard software. If you need more you need that HDN

Re: 2018 Mac Mini Ditch Pro Tools Plan

That is true. Standard software is limited to 32 i/o and only way to get more is Avid hardware -- HDN (64 i/o) or HDX ("unlimited")

Re: 2018 Mac Mini Ditch Pro Tools Plan

True that, but what you need is one buss for your interfaces, another buss for your storage, and third buss for your displays.

Re: Does this get me from PTHD 9 to HD 10, 11 & 12?

No problem.

Just be aware what you need to do. The update needs you to install new software and get your licenses updated.

Re: How can I use one license on two different computers with a digital iLok key?

That is effectively using Cloud but instead of having the luxury of no iloks you would just transfer the licensed between ilok1-cloud-ilok2

Re: problem with instrument track

First I heard of this.

More common problem with VI tracks is you don't have the VI settings visible on your mix window and after closing and reopening session the settings have not been restored...

Re: Waves V10 vs V9

Most of them SoundGrid related, so if you don't use SG and pay WUP you could just as easily burn money.

Re: How can I use one license on two different computers with a digital iLok key?

I also wish machine auth would be mandatory for all licenses; that way the whole key was unnecessary and if you do not travel with your licenses you could have the licenses on your system drive. Kind...

Re: Does this get me from PTHD 9 to HD 10, 11 & 12?

Yes.

The first thing that changes is you surrender your old license and receive a new license bundle. Then, if you can install the latest version it will automatically show on your Avid Account,...

Re: What happened to my plugins?

If you mean this (http://www.avidblogs.com/new-plug-in-bundles-for-pro-tools-12-2-and-pro-tools-hd-12-2/), you should have the licenses somewhere

Re: Macbook Pro backup before repair
