You think I should get a few different cables and test them out? What about the 400-800 cable? my computer takes only 400 firewire (6pin).

I installed the latest mbox drivers onto windows 10 on the same computer as the computer has both windows 7 and 10. The interface works fine on windows 10. So I'm not sure what the problem could be....
