Re: Activation not working. Crossgrade Upgrade
I purchased my crossgrade through Sweetwater and have the same problem. Filled out a support form yesterday and have not received any response from Avid. Left a message with my Sweetwater rep this...

PT 9 and Lion are running smooth here!
I'm not sure where you guys are getting your info but PT 9.0.6 is compatible with 10.7.4 as stated in this technical alert...

Don't worry about it, your Accel rig won't work with PT 11 anyway

Re: Getting Frustrated with PTHD9 and Digi 003R
Gotcha, I stand corrected. I guess I'm still stuck in my pre PT9 thinking. It certainly is confusing the way Avid lays it out though.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but here is what Avid says about PT9 HD

Re: Getting Frustrated with PTHD9 and Digi 003R
PT9HD is for HD hardware that utilizes the TDM architecture and is not intended for use with 003/Mbox interfaces. I'd be surprised if it worked at all with a 003. You need the standard version of PT...

WD Drives here. I use a Velociraptor as my system/application drive, a Caviar Black for my recording drive and the stock Mac drive for sample libraries. Switching over to the Velociraptor as my...

Re: Why Does The Profire 2626 Suck So Much?
I appreciate your time and technical explanation but I still maintain that the 2626 does not run as efficiently as the 002 at 32 samples. This probably boils down to how well the 002 driver is...

Re: Why Does The Profire 2626 Suck So Much?
I went down to 18 software returns instead of 26 and it did help. Why is this? Why would the number of software returns I'm using have an effect on my processing power?
Even when using all of the...

Re: Pro Tools 9.0.3 CPU Overload
Mac OSX 10.6.8 is not qualified for Pro Tools systems and should be the first thing that you eliminate when troubleshooting this issue. OSX 10.6.7 and PT 9.0.3 are the latest versions that are...

Re: Cpu Overload PT9 Kontakt 4
If you're using the 2626 I'd say no, it's not possible. The Profire has been very buggy here and causes cpu overload errors while recording one track with one reverb plug in at 32 samples. At 64 and...

Re: Why Does The Profire 2626 Suck So Much?
Yup, 10.6.7 is qualified. I've trashed preferences, databases and did all of the basic troubleshooting that Avid recommends. Are you on 9.0.3 and are you able to track reliably at a 32 sample buffer?...

It's the only thing connected to the firewire port as I record to a dedicated internal drive. Anybody using the same configuration as me, specifically a 2008 Mac Pro?

Thanks Spenner but I've done that as well. Anybody have any ideas? I'm use to doing tracking sessions at a 32 sample buffer with no issues whatsoever. Now it's an absolute no go

Re: Why Does The Profire 2626 Suck So Much?
I do have the latest driver installed. Maybe it's a 9.0.3 issue? I'm just not sure why it would work flawlessly with my 002 and not with the 2626. I really want to be able to use 9.0.3 because it...

Why Does The Profire 2626 Suck So Much?
