Yes, a few minor things gets updated-changed, but PT12.4.app was left side by side with 12.5 So long, I'm free from crashes and as I was with 12.4, very satisfied with 12.5

... the problem he is referring to about not playing itunes etc. On specifically Avid HD hardware interfaces and Mac OSX is 15 years old . It did not started with OSX Yosemite about 2 years ago.

It's obvious that 15 years old problems with core audio has been a big problem for Digidesign - Avid. Derfore people with perfect rooms, monitors and audio hardware, connect as long time SP/dif out...

Not in my opinion. Install drivers, then 12.5 -If you are satisfied, just drag 12.4 to trasch can. :rolleyes:

Have been doing so since PT 4? ...Cubase 8 and Logic x use all 32 channels without any problem.
