When downloading from inside Mac OS Lion, I have never seen the Download Manager to be launched, so the download is always direct from Safari.

It is up to the condition of the Mbox/PT9 package. If it provides free upgrade offer to 10 it shall be free. If nothing provided you have to pay for upgrade.

Yes, thats true. Avid looks like deletes older versions once a full setup disk image has been provided. It is also true for PT9, and prior to 9.0.2 is now unavailable at "Your Products" page.

If Avid would release PT11 very soon, a big problem will be there are less AAX plugins ready to use, other than genuine Avid/Digi/Air plugins. So it is now too early for 11.

Assuming that PT11 would not support any of existing RTAS plugs, I wonder if FxPansion could provide a new converter/wrapper for RTAS-to-AAX, as like as legacy VST-to-RTAS converter......

The original 10.0 and its update patches look like desappered from the "Your Products" page. I think this is because the updated 10.2 disk images are placed as Full Installer.
