I'm with BScout on this. Clip FX are there for the mouse-based editor to get something roughed-in. If you are actually using a real surface, you're much better off with the standard Preview/Punch...

That is by design. The VCA will always operate, regardless of the status of the mix group. I recommend simply unhighlighting the VCA groups, that way your other groups and your 'suspend all groups'...

Pros:
-S3 has meters on every fader.
-With Dock, you don't need screens over the faders, so S3 looks better and fits in front of the computer monitor better.
