Re: AJA Kona LHi Fan Noise

On my system, I simply removed the fan and made no other changes.

I've been running mine for about five years with no fan; no issues.

In a mac pro 5,1 silver tower, so ventilation is pretty decent.

Re: A Must Read about Future Video Workflows

Yes - Apple will continue to support ProRes. In fact it's quite a good format.

but will it continue to be supported by Pro Tools as a picture format? Or will AVID drop the codec? (I've heard...

Re: Music w/ lots of level under 30hz. Highpass across Printmaster out?

Yep. No question of value of mixing in a proper stage.

Just wondering if folks regularly place HPF on their outputs.

It’s pretty common w/ design elements to pitch down, or similarly w/ use...

Re: Music w/ lots of level under 30hz. Highpass across Printmaster out?

Yes - of course.

The point however is: Many proper stages also can’t reproduce sound below 30hz.

At this point I feel my best option is to place HPF’s on my stem masters, and filter sounds...
