What have I done?

I've managed to set up PT (7.3.1) so that it "mutes" my record track whenever I scrub my source tracks.
I can hear the sound with the re-record tracks on input when I playback...

We do harddrive backups of our total work, and then additional AIT and DA88 of finals and stems.

But analog has its advantages!

I mean how long can you read an AIT tape?...

I'd try not to confuse Dolby stereo with what noise reduction system is used.
Dolby Stereo is the tech. A and SR are only noise reduction systems.

AFAIK Dolby Surround (or Dolby Stereo) as such...
