Thanks Drew, I've contacted customer support. However I'ld love to ditch bouncing to MP3. I will check out the Sonnox toolbox although I hate to have to again pay just like I did to bounce to MP3.

Hi Drew, sorry for late reply, only just now I was able to try it out but it doesn't work. I still get the same error. "Module initialization failed for MP3.dll. The MP3 demo period may have expired."

Ah thanks I should look into that. I use an RME babyface. I tend to not take too large so just in case it crashes I'm not at a total loss. I think i might go for at least 2tb since I also make videos

Thanks to both. SO I shouldn't take too long to activate. How do I know if I have a perpetual license. I hope it's what I bought which is an upgrade for $199 (the only option) from PT10.

I had the same thing. I was told on this forum to get firewire and a 7200rpm HD... I did all that and it kept shutting down until I cleaned the fan. Your machine prolly feels very hot on the bottom...
