Re: Clear Comm

Yeah I figured if they are running the BNC snake, there are probably still a few lines of copper going to FOH, be it a drive snake, or stealing a line from lighting or whatever.

The GPO would be...

Re: Clear Comm

I'm aware this is an ancient thread, but I'm curious how everyone is handling comm if they're utilizing the digital snake

I've been using the profile more at FOH and we're working on eliminating...

Re: version 4

This was the first question I asked when I walked up to the S3L at infocomm. The short answer is yes, they do plan on releasing V4 for the VENUE line.

The long answer is yes, but not all of the...

Re: Is it safe to load a new show file on an open rig?

For this show I'll have to just mute the processors briefly during changeovers, but at least I found a new use for our DSP5d which has been collecting dust for the last 2 years. Makes a great Matrix...

Is it safe to load a new show file on an open rig?

Generally we turn on the amps but leave them muted at the controller until the board is up and ready to go. But during a changeover, assuming that all outputs in the current file are muted, and all...

Re: Having trouble getting SC48 to work with Venue link on alternate network interfac

Re: Venue Tips & Tricks

So I'm watching one of the old webinars, Robert walks through using groups in a monitor situation as stems to send into matrixies. This is a great idea, but I'm looking into a way to use the group...

Re: Venue Tips & Tricks

Thanks that is a great tip. I'm basically a full time monitor eng and I'm finally getting to use the Profile after months behind the m7. I've used the board before but I'm definitely interested in...
