New dock solo button lower then mute button
 

Hey guys . I just received a pro tools dock to use with my s3. The solo button on the dock is much lower then the mute button . Is this normal ? It works as should but it seems odd in comparison to all the other buttons .

Here ya go . Maybe the mute button is on an angle ? It’s just odd . Like I said it works as should .

How's the action on the button? My Solo and Mute buttons "feel" the same.

The solo button feels the same as the s3 . The mute button feels a tiny different . Almost spongy .

I'll forward to the hardware guys and see what they say. Is this a new Dock ?

Still no word? I definitely think the mute button is not seated properly . It’s definitely a different feel from all buttons on dock and s3 . I just wanna make sure it’s not going to cause an issue in the future like when the warranty runs out .

If the Dock is brand new then personally, I would exchange it for a new unit..
