Re: New Hackintosh / PT7 monster HD PCI Rig
Is it still possible to buy JetWay JNAF92-Q67 motherboard?
Or similar with 4 PCI ports for and HD4 Accel rig and OSX 10.7.5. |
Re: New Hackintosh / PT7 monster HD PCI Rig
Ok, it seems I can buy ASUS P7H55 motherboard which some people successfully used to build OSX 10.7.5 Hackintosh. It has 3 PCI ports, so I could get HD3 running, at least in theory.

Re: New Hackintosh / PT7 monster HD PCI Rig
The Q87 chipset does not natively support PCI. It uses a bridge chip which is a no-go for HD TDM cards. Sorry!

Re: New Hackintosh / PT7 monster HD PCI Rig
Hi,
I'm trying to build a hackintosh Pro Tools rig using a DFI SB630 SB630-CRM (basically the same board as the Jetway JNAF92-Q67) for my new HD system (HD|3), but I'm having some trouble getting a DSDT for it. There's a link to one on page 2, but the link is dead. I guess I could build my own, but I'd rather find one ready-made if possible. If anyone here can provide me with a copy, that would be excellent. Once I get the DSDT, I'll probably have more questions, as I'm new to HD. Thanks, c |
