Midi notes won't sound when selected in midi editor
I'm using the selector tool in the midi editor window. When I select a midi note I want to hear it sound. If the scrubber tool is selected, I can hear the notes but then I have to click on the selector again to edit and I lose the audio. Is there a way to hear the notes all the time or do I have to keep hitting the scrubber button. There must be a switch or a button for this somewhere. Thanks. PT 12 running on a mac OS10.13.3

Re: Midi notes won't sound when selected in midi editor
Pretty sure there's a setting in Preferences for "audition" or similar(my rig is currently in boxes:(). In any case, there is a solution(you might also check and see if having the Instrument track in record-ready)

It's the little green speaker button at the top of the Edit window which toggles "Play MIDI notes when editing".
