AAE error - 14018
 

I'm running PT 11.2.1 ...... I Loaded Line 6 Helix Native 1.50 and got this (AAE error - 14018).......at first it said not enough resources......but i have 16gig of ram and im only running a modest number of plugins.....Waves Gold Pac & Bias Amp & Avid stuff...thats it...and Helix of course......so I ended up having to reload the previous 1.10 version......that works fine......any suggestions

2 things to consider
#1-8GB of RAM is enough for the OS and not much else
#2-all amp sim plugins are notorious resource hogs(CPU and RAM)

If you have 1 or 2 amp sims going, that may be all you can do at a low buffer(required for tracking without too much latency). If you are cool with choosing a sound and keeping it, you could use 1 amp sim plugin on an AUX track, route to your audio tracks and print as you track each sound:o

Yea..i was thinking about deleting Bias.......havent used it since i got the Helix stuff....I never had any problems since ive installed everything....it was just the latest version of the Helix (1.50)......maybe i try that tonight and see what happens....uninstall Bias and reinstall Helix 1.50 ...if it works ...then ill know its a resource issue.......thanx

my bad.....i have 16g of Ram......i also uninstalled Amplitube and a Midi Piano thing i wasnt using....i uninstalled 1.10 and reinstalled 1.50 with no luck.....i tried creating a new song with just one track and it still would would not load the 1.5 Helix......so it cant be a resource thing from the point of not enough Ram to run multiple tracks......im at a loss at this point......any help will be appreciated......thanx
