3rd Gen Mbox not working after driver 1.1.4 instal
 

Can't believe I did this but I just updated PT9 and drivers for 3rd gen Mbox even though all was working fine(except 3rd gen Mbox clock was too slow but I gave up on that). Now PT can't find the mbox and only blue LED light flashing. Thanks for help!

Oh boy. Join some of the club. There is another thread on this very issue. I have been unable to find a solution. I have asked avid to allow us to either reload firmware or be able to downgrade - have not gotten a solution on it.

Great! I'm so glad I messed with something that was working fine:( Thanks for the info!!

I'm guilty too. Luckily I only lost my tuner. The rest of the MBox is fine. Let me know when u get a solution.

Problem solved! I just purchased a support code and called in. Avid was on the phone with me for about 30min. I let them take over my system remotely and he managed to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them along with some other crazy restarts and all is working fine now. I guess that's worth $40 right?

Did you happen to follow what he did?

I have no idea what he did aside from uninstalling the driver, performing a special restart of my macbook and reinstalling the driver...wish I could be more specific, sorry!
