Extremely frustrating when you pay for something and they reply like this.
I mean really why is it not on my account I bought it from digidesign on the web? Hi Thank you for contacting Avid Global Customer Care. Pro Tools 7 is an Old/Legacy version which is hardware dependent that is why you cannot see it on your Master Account. And MP3 is being purchases separately it does nit come with Pro Tools 7. Luckily I figured it out and it’s working now. I just reinstalled it. But the month of replies about receipts and additional purchase required was really annoying. I don’t know how many times I told ole Oliver I purchased this in 2005. Avid needs to keep better records, I know with reason I can see my license all the way back to version 2.
Likewise he could have helped look on my machine or something logical like that. Hope I never have that happen again! |
